Mouse is a hard one to get a photo of, she is always running around or trying to get away from you. When she was young she had a vitamin deficiency. She was the runt and not gaining weight. Someone was called to see if there was anything she could do to bring this little lamb back to health. Mouse started having seizures and wasn’t expected to live much longer. After receiving selenium shots, she came out of the seizures, but was also permanently rewired — this is why she is a hard one to get resting or laying down. She is a beautiful girl who loves to smell your nose and get a special treat, but she may not stick around for those hugs or cuddles.

Peaches came to TAS with her close friend Mouse in the summer of 2015. She was rescued from a lamb production farm 9 years ago where she was bottle fed and then didn’t want to go back to the herd. She has limp from being kicked very hard when they tried to persuade her. Thankfully she was brought home by someone who wanted to treat her well.

The Alice Sanctuary was asked to take Matilda when she was around 7 weeks old. Born a twin, her brother was kicking her off the udder, and she became very weak and malnourished. There was a threat that she would not survive. We were asked to give her a chance or else they feared she would not make it.
Matilda thrived once she came here, instantly eating pasture and grain. She is fiercely independent, but loves to play with her brother from another mother, Emmet. We think she pushed herself to get healthy so she could take care of Emmet.
